Friends, as we have discussed in the past many blogs, the pressure on enterprises to transform is not only real, but intensifying rapidly. Excellent!

There was a good article discussing this recently on TechCrunch: The Pressure On Enterprises To Transform Intensifies

Two major attributing reasons include:

1. Thanks to Apple, Google and Amazon and a few others, every enterprise wants to be a leader in many areas, to diversify and grow rapidly. This means that the lines are being redrawn AND every company feels that they can be much more and different.
2. Yay!  Competitive pressures are causing angst.

How?

• AirBnB is disrupting the hospitality business in a major way! A  new player writing new rules and satisfying customers at a level never seen before. The hospitality business has to respond!
• Uber disrupting the ground transportation industry at a level never seen before!
• Social media disrupting the advertising industry!
• Consumers driving product design more than companies dominating what is hot next!
• Large enterprises are loosing opportunities to smaller players at a rate we have never see before!

These are just some of the few areas of disruption. Many more out there and coming! The pressure is on and growing globally.

New players writing new rules. Disrupting and innovating. This puts the pressure on the old school traditional businesses and I say, BRING IT ON!
