In my last blog post, you read my heartfelt thank you and appreciation to all of those who started the necessary dialog about disruption and innovation in 2013. I look forward to meeting new faces and new companies already ready and set up to progress on the journey of disruption and innovation in 2014 and beyond. Thank you for inviting ProVoke to be part of this journey with you.

2013 was an amazing year of starting the discussion on Disruption and Innovation. In my twenty some years in technology, this year was the most vibrant year in Innovation and why we need to disrupt! Thank you all.

Wherever we are in the journey of Disruption–> Innovation –> Building the new Culture of Disruption and Innovation (CofD and CofI – ProVoke), there is one key element. Willingness to (1) Experiment, (2) fail-safe and (3) iterate.

1. Experiment: Developing a safe, welcoming environment to mindfully experiment, be agile and via rapid prototyping test out new, perhaps radically different and out of the box ideas constantly across the board
2. Fail-safe: Nurturing an ecosystem which rewards mindful and focused experimentation and recognizes ‘failures’ as the necessary steps towards innovation and success, rather than failures
3. Iterate: Realizing that this is a continuous and iterative process and not a onetime event

We have hundreds of thousands of brilliant minds in small, medium and large companies. Enormous raw talent globally! In 2014 and beyond, let’s build the right Ecosystem enabling us to harness the great innovation and possibilities, and build a best sustaining global Ecosystems of Disruption and Innovation.

We made great progress in 2013 and we are on our way…Let’s make it all happen in 2014 and beyond!
